BIBI Publishing - Zahra @ the Khadija Academy
Zahra's Blurb Competition at Rochdale Town Hall in association with Young Muslim Writers Awards and Rochdale's Ethnic Minority Achievement Team.

I was invited to a fantastic event in Rochdale organised by the excellent EMAT. They asked me to run a creative writing session with over 100 children in the historic Town Hall.

I always find that pictures encourage creativity so I asked the children to write a blurb just by looking at the front cover of my new book, 'Zahra's Trip to Misr'.

I must say I was very impressed with the blurbs. The children were able to work with the ideas of plot and genre
to come up with some excellent storylines.
